Whenever Water Is Near

Set your Holy Books down
and stick your feet into these waters.
They could be the Ganges
or the fountain in the square.
It doesn’t matter where you are
the Divine is there waiting for you
to stick your feet in and then
sink deep into the waters.
Let go of any idea of understanding the Infinite,
let go of the furrowed brow that is seeking answers.
Instead, do what the children do
whenever water is near.
Dive in.
Let it heal you.
Let it wrap itself around you,
finding its way into you.
Just like the Divine is doing
when you welcome it.
